| Bio/Admin History: | George W. Pocaterra, 1882-1972, rancher, was a pioneer of the Kananaskis region, 1906. On a visit to his native Italy in 1933, he met Norma Piper, 1898-1983, a coloratura soprano of Calgary, and they married in 1936. The Pocaterras returned to Alberta on the eve of the Second World War.
