Description:Consists of the diary of Fred Bagley, who joined the North-West Mounted Police as trumpeter in 1874, when he was 15 years old. The entries describe the March West, and the early years of his Mounted Police career in western Canada. The location of the original diary is unknown. This version is based on one annotated "Transcribed at Banff, Alberta, 1938", which may have been created by Bagley himself.
