| Holdings: | Holdings consist of the permanently valuable records of the University of Alberta and its affiliated organizations and institutions including the administrative and operational records of the offices of the Presidents and the Vice-Presidents, the faculties and departments, and support units, the records of teaching, research and administrative staff and organizations which have made a significant contribution to the University, the records of individuals and organizations prominent in such fields as oil sands research, Canadian publishing, irrigation, land settlement, the fur trade and the North, medicine, and the literary arts. The holdings consist of textual documents, photographs, audio and video tapes, blueprints and posters.
